About the author

Meet J L Yock. You can blame her in the morning.

Stay up past a reasonable hourBlame me in the morning

J L Yock writes the kind of books that make you stay up past a reasonable hour and then blame her in the morning.

Romance, erotica, fantasy, and whatever else refuses to stay in its lane. Magic that misbehaves. Desire that doesn't ask permission. Heroes who are a little too sharp, heroines who are a little too much, and worlds where the rules are suggestions. Sometimes there are bookshops. Sometimes there are shifters. Sometimes there is a cat who knows more than he should. Always, there is trouble worth getting into.

She believes a good story should feel like a secret and a bad decision at the same time. If you want polite, closed-door, and home by ten, you have wandered into the wrong aisle. If you want heat, heart, and a plot that refuses to behave, pull up a chair.

When she's not writing, she's plotting the next book, arguing with fictional people, and collecting ideas she absolutely should not put on the page. She puts them on the page anyway.

Welcome. Stay as long as you like. Just don't say she didn't warn you.

Her debut novel, Home After Midnight, and her second book, Knotted by the Fae Wolf King, are both available now.

When she's not writing, J L is a devoted wife and mother who still finds time to lose herself in a good book.

"I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship."
