Why settle for one when you can have them all? Desire doesn't play by the rules and neither does this story. Passion burns, secrets unravel, and hearts collide in a world where love refuses to be tamed.

Hopelessly in love, dangerously tempted, and unapologetically wild, this isn't about choosing one person. It's about surrendering to every forbidden thrill. Why choose? Indulge. Be who you are.

About the main characters

Tillie loves to read, and her shelves are overflowing with novels, memoirs, and poetry. She finds comfort and adventure between the pages of a good book. Damon, on the other hand, loves cards whether it's Uno or poker night with friends. His appreciation for strategy and a little bit of luck define his playful side.

A 12 second animated book trailer with music. A burning purple rose glows above an open book while the title Home After Midnight shines in pink neon. There is no spoken dialogue.

A peek inside

"You don't even know what I'm going to say!" Tillie's voice carried through the screen door before she even opened it. He heard her kick off her shoes bright yellow Converse that somehow worked with her vintage floral dress, and they landed with twin thuds on the wraparound porch. Not on the boot rack. Never on the boot rack. The dogs started barking their two mutts, Biscuit and Gravy, probably hoping she'd brought them something from town.

"I know that look." Damon saved his work and finally glanced up as his wife came through the door, their orange tabby cat, Hank Williams, weaving between her legs. Even after thirteen years, the sight of her still did something to his chest. She was barely five feet of pure chaotic energy, all curves and wild dark curls that she'd given up trying to tame sometime around year three of their relationship. Her shoulder bore the faint scar from the car wreck five years ago she'd healed stronger than before, as she always did.

"That's your 'I had three margaritas and an epiphany' look."
"It was only two margaritas."

Knotted by the Fae Wolf King

  • Fantasy romance
  • Slow burn
  • Fae
  • True mates
  • Forced proximity
  • Hidden identity

In the shadowed border village of Birka, survival demands sacrifice. After years of disguising herself as a man to protect her younger sister, Sigrid Cromwell makes the ultimate choice: she sells them both at a fae auction to keep Joselyn safe from human predators.

The highest bidder is Knox Blackfang the brutal, enigmatic Fae Wolf King whose power is bound by an ancient curse. Only a true mate can break the Lunar Thread that threatens to unravel both him and the Wilds. Drawn to the fierce "guardian" who stands between him and the gentle younger sister, Knox claims them both... and finds himself unraveling instead.

As Sigrid's carefully constructed disguise begins to crack under the weight of forced proximity, shared danger, and an attraction neither of them expected, secrets surface that will change everything. Rival packs circle. Old bloodlines awaken. And the line between duty and desire burns hotter with every stolen glance and every dangerous truth.

When the mask finally falls, Sigrid must decide whether the king who bought her is the monster of the stories or the only home she has ever been allowed to claim.

A slow-burn fantasy romance of deception and destiny, primal possession and hard-won trust, where one woman's fierce protection of her sister leads her into the arms of a king who was never supposed to want her... and a future neither of them could have imagined.
